    Services

    Yep. We can do that.

The number one question I get all the time is "Brian, what all can you design?" That is an excellent question. The answer is anything...anything that you can dream up visually...we can do it...and if we haven't done it before, we'll research to get the job done. Need a logo? We can do that. Need a brochure, business card, tshirt, menu, magnet, tote bag, banner, billboard? We can do that. Need a commercial shot? I have resources to get that done. Need some great photos of your kids or that yearly family gathering? We can take care of that. Already have some great photos and want them professionally edited? We got you covered. Need a website? We'll be your huckleberry.

Don't see something on the list? Ask. I'll bet you we can do it.

    How we got started

Godspeed has technically been around since late 2006, when I finished up my degree in Graphics. By word of mouth churches, small businesses, and organizations began soliciting visual advise and graphic work. Products ranged from simple brochures for small audiences all the way to a CD booklet to hand out to new visitors at a large church. I decided it was time to expand and created Godspeed's logo and website. Quietly, the official launch was January 2010. The 1st 2 years of business has been great for a freelance company. I have a few clients that are repeat customers for various products and services. I've had the thrill of assisting them on their great adventures. I even had a connection that allowed me to do 10,000 magnets for a local minor league hockey team.

In the last year, I've had opportunites to do some photo shoots for different projects, child photos, and even assisted in the shooting of a few shorts and a Doritos commercial.

In the future, I look forward to doing more projects for small businesses, individuals, and it would be great to do a few high profile events similar to the few I've had the priviledge of working with over the years.

    Consulting and Dreaming

One of my favorite parts of the creative process is meeting with people. I want to dig into dreams and goals, ask lots of questions, and see what I can do to best capture the heart and soul of your company or cause. At this time, consulting is free...to see if I can get the job done in a way that you will be satisfied.

    General Financial Arrangements

Once an agreement is reached that Godspeed will be doing your work, we'll gather up an estimate of costs. The number we come up with will be determined by how much work needs to be done, how quickly the visual work needs to be ready, and what arrangements are made to get items printed, etc. No matter the rate, I work until you are happy.

    Things to know

Keep in mind a few things when you're thinking about hiring me: 1. What I do is not clipart. That is what Microsoft Word is for. What I'm doing for you is custom and will take some time. It won't be done overnight. 2. Some questions to consider in advance...What colors? Who is your audience? Do you have any photographs you want to use? What text will appear in your visual piece? Do you have a logo?...That will get us well down the road.

Ready to get started? Call or email me to schedule some consulting time!

    More about Brian

Hi, my name is Brian Oswald and I am the founder of ‘Godspeed Graphics.’ On this website you will find my personal graphic design portfolio as well as some profiles of organizations, groups, and individuals who have chosen to take advantage of my design services.

I am currently employed by a major telecommunications company, where I specialize in maintaining a rates database through research, table updates, and GUI development, utilizing computer languages such as HTML, C#, Javascript, and SQL. My primary goal is to create and maintain applications in the .NET platform. On the side, I am a freelance graphic designer, specializing in the fields of corporate identity, print design, branding, photography, and web design. The majority of my time has been dedicated to designing and implementing promotional materials, logos, business cards, and more. In short, if you can dream it, I can develop something for any visual need. .

    Background

I hold an Associates of Liberal Arts from Tulsa Community College in Tulsa, OK. I also hold a Bachelor of Visual Communication (Graphic Design Major) from American Intercontinental University.

I absolutely love anything that challenges the status quo and has an element of creativity. I am willing and able to learn, grow, and stretch myself to further any worthy agenda or cause. I am a big picture person, who sees the desired end result and critically thinks through the steps to meet and exceed the goals that are set before me...and will take risks to get there if deemed necessary.

I have a beautiful wife, Amber, who I have been happily married to for 10 years. We have two awesome children, Michele (8) and Michael (6), who make each and every day an adventure. When I’m not sitting in front of a computer, you will find me active as a small group leader with the college and young professional’s group at our church, reading books, taking photographs, watching various sports, listening to all types of music, or hanging out with my family.

If you have questions, comments, or just want to stop by and say hello, please feel free to contact me.

  • Winter and the Political Groundhog

    February 10, 2012

Well, I’m not sure how it is in your part of the country, but winter has been non-existent here. It’s like we skipped straight from fall into spring…and that doesn’t play well with folks like me who have 9 months worth of allergies. We need a break! It looks like that break will come here in the middle of February finally. I was beginning to think that the groundhog was a politician…making promises of 6 more weeks of winter, and then delivering nothing but 60’s and 70’s. We shall see.

2012 has served to be a great year for us. Photography has taken an unexpected upturn, a few websites are in the works that I will soon get to showcase on this site…and the most exciting news, a partnership with Lewis Brothers Archives. The boys over there are great at video work and I’m happy to be working side by side with them. It looks like I’ll have their website up and ready to view in the next few months. Exciting things are taking place. If you a visual need on the video side or the graphic side, give us a holler!

    Carol of the Bells

    December 1, 2011

So we've entered another one of my favorite times of the year...Christmas season! I live for nutcrackers and egg nog (and Jesus, of course). The good news though is that I have not touched egg nog yet this season. It's in the fridge ready to go though and I couldn't be happier. This season brings about some great memories and continues some outstanding traditions. I'm especially looking forward to the 24th, when Amber makes her famous apple cinnamon pancakes (nom, nom). Also, she always tries to increase her ever-expanding list of recipes. I'm telling ya...a cookbook should happen for her at some point.

Well, if you're reading this, you've noticed a few changes around here. I finally carved out some time to upgrade the site. I think it's looking pretty spiffy. Be sure to check back from time to time to check out the rotation backgrounds (you can change them using the numbers at the bottom of the screen). Also, come back to take a peek at the latest creations in the Portfolio section. FYI, the only piece that doesn't work yet is the contact form. Send an email to osutigger27@yahoo.com or give me a call. Until next time, have an incredible Christmas!...Oh...while we're talking Christmas...check this out...Carol of the Bells
